In Summer 2020, Lantuun Dohio participated in the COVID-19 relief package distribution in Arlington County  VA. Lantuun Dohio team assisted in the distribution of food and supplies and handed out resource pamphlets available in different languages. Our team assisted in translating pamphlets into Mongolian for Mongolian residents.

Lantuun Dohio USA organizes an event with Arlington’s Project PEACE and starts a much-needed collaboration

On January 25, 2020, Lantuun Dohio USA organized an event with Arlington’s Project PEACE at the county’s Central Library. The PEACE stands for Partnering to End Abuse in the Community for Everyone and is a coordinated community response to raising awareness and developing the most efficient and comprehensive services to end domestic and sexual violence in the community. The event was the first one ever to be organized specifically for the Mongolian community in the area by Project PEACE and was extremely successful. Both Lantuun Dohio USA and the Project PEACE panelists agreed that there is a high need for collaboration and partnership going forward.

On November 1st, 2018 Lantuun Dohio was invited to present at the World Bank Group’s (WBG’s) Community Connections Campaign (CCC) launch luncheon. The CCC is a workplace giving program and is part of the WBG’s corporate philanthropy strategy. Through the campaign, which occurs each year between November and December, the WBG’s staff, consultants, and retirees donate to over 300 nonprofits in the DC area and around the world. Their donations are matched by the WBG.
