Lantuun Dohio
at World Bank Group
On November 1st, 2018 Lantuun Dohio was invited to present at the World Bank Group’s (WBG’s) Community Connections Campaign (CCC) launch luncheon. The CCC is a workplace giving program and is part of the WBG’s corporate philanthropy strategy. Through the campaign, which occurs each year between November and December, the WBG’s staff, consultants, and retirees donate to over 300 nonprofits in the DC area and around the world. Their donations are matched by the WBG.
Lantuun Dohio would like to thank Zula Dashdorj, WBG staff, for introducing us to the CCC community and giving us an opportunity to present at the luncheon.
One of the requirements for nonprofits to join the CCC for the FY19 is to be nominated by at least 10 WBG staff or retirees. Therefore, if you are WBG staff or retiree, we would like to encourage you to nominate Lantuun Dohio for the CCC. The nomination process is typically open once a year during the spring.
For the FY18, the CCC raised $4 million which was matched 100% by the World Bank Group totaling to $8 million donated to fighting poverty and improving lives of disadvantaged communities. Lantuun Dohio hopes to be part of the CCC so it can continue to help and protect children from violence, abuse, and exploitation in Mongolia and around the world.
